Our ultra-pure, custom-made 10:1 water extract offers the full range of valuable nutrients found in bitter melon without contamination from contraversial solvent residues such as methanol, acetone or N-hexane.

The product was manufactured according to the highest quality and purity standards from Indian bitter melon, then encapsulated and bottled in an HACCP- and GMP-certified facility in the EU.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC capsules that can be found on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.

Bitter Melon

The bitter melon (Momordica charantia), also called bitter gourd, bitter cucumber, balsam pear or bitter apple, belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family and grows in the tropical regions of Africa, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean. Bitter melon is a herbaceous, slender climber with 2-5 foot long shoot axes and vine-like foliage. The bitter melon owes its name to the distinctly bitter taste of its fruits, which occurs as a result of the compounds it contains.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule (500mg bitter melon extract) once or twice daily (morning and evening) with 200ml water before meals.
