How are we different?

Our premium garlic extract is produced using a patented extraction process that exclusively uses pure water as a solvent. The garlic's native compounds are utilised as natural processing aids, resulting in a pure water extract (100:1) created entirely without the use of chemical solvents such as methanol or acetone. This ensures the natural purity of the raw material is perfectly preserved.

We use patented, acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DRcaps®) as capsule shells. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.

Garlic

Garlic (Allium sativum) is a perennial plant belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. Originating in Central Asia, it has been prized since antiquity—particularly in ancient Egypt—for its culinary versatility and its remarkable botanical properties. The characteristic garlic bulb, composed of several individual cloves, is the most frequently utilised part of the plant, renowned for its distinctive, robust flavour and intense aroma.

Garlic contains a wealth of fascinating phytochemicals, notably valuable sulphur compounds such as alliin. Once the cellular structure of the clove is disrupted by chopping or crushing, the enzyme alliinase converts alliin into allicin. This transformation is primarily responsible for the plant's distinctive aroma and characteristic properties.
