Omega-7
Omega-7 fatty acids are unsaturated fatty acids that comprise a natural component of lipid layers in the human body; they also play an important role in metabolism and the mucous membranes. The most well-known form of omega-7 is palmitoleic acid, which can naturally be found in particularly high quantities in sea buckthorn pulp oil.
Palmitoleic Acid
The original Cardiomegia® is a completely plant-based omega-7 derived from sea buckthorn pulp oil with an exceptionally high content of at least 45% palmitoleic acid (omega-7). Obtained from the organic berries (Tibet) using gentle CO₂ extraction to maintain maximum purity and preserve the natural triglyceride form.
