Fatty Acids
Omega-3
Omega-3 fatty acids are vital components of cells: DHA and EPA support heart function, DHA contributes to normal brain and vision function. In active form, they can only be formed in the body in small quantities from the plant precursor ALA. High amounts of omega-3 fatty acids are concentrated in algae in particular, from which fish also benefit as a food source. In our assortment we have 100% vegan omega-3 oils for use in a variety of important applications.
MCT Oil
MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) are special fatty acids that can be easily converted into energy by the body on account of their structure. The 2 forms of biologically effective MCT are caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10), and as a superior source of energy they can increase energy production in the mitochondria.
