How are we different?
Our evening primrose oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose (Oenothera Biennis L. and Oenothera Lamarkiana L.). The seeds are first sieved, then cold-pressed to preserve all the valuable ingredients and finally filtered. The use of chemicals and solvents is consistently avoided throughout the entire process.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

The common evening primrose (Oenothera biennis), also known as the summer star, Stolzer Heinrich or Rapontika, is a naturalised neophyte in Germany and belongs to the evening primrose family (Onagraceae). Originally from North America, it was brought to Europe as an ornamental plant at the beginning of the 17th century and cultivated there in gardens and parks. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it already had a permanent place in cottage gardens. It is now widespread throughout most of Europe; it grows wild on railway embankments, embankments, roadsides and fallow land. Its name comes from the fact that the plant only unravels its large yellow petals in the dark and gives a distinctive odour.
