Lecithin is known in the food industry as an emulsifier when it is obtained from soybeans; however, our sunflower lecithin is obtained from sunflower seeds (Helianthus annuus) and serves as a natural source of phosphatidylcholine. The completely plant-based powder contains no additives.
We use environmentally friendly packaging made from starch, cellulose and paper, which is 100% biodegradable (compostable).
Lecithin is a component of animal and plant cell membranes and belongs to the group of phospholipids—it is also referred to as phosphatidylcholine. Phospholipids occur naturally in the human body and are composed of fatty acids, glycerol, phosphoric acid and choline. Lecithin was first isolated from egg yolk in 1846 by Theodor Nicolas Gobley, who named it "Lekithos" (Greek for "egg yolk"), which later became the modern term "lecithin."
Dissolve 10g powder in 200ml water daily and consume.
