Our patented premium raw material Cococin® is produced using a proprietary freeze-drying process (lipophilisation). This results in a stable composition of coconut water that retains its inherent biological activity. Prior to this, the green coconuts are harvested at the right stage of ripeness to ensure optimal levels of RNA and growth factors, including shikimic acid, quinic acid and indole-3-acetic acid, essential vitamins, amino acids and minerals. If coconuts are not harvested and continue to ripen, the coconut water is gradually absorbed by the fruit. This results in a rich layer of fruit flesh, but the water dries up. In order to obtain the nutrient-rich coconut water, the fruit must therefore be harvested while still young and green. Our coconuts come from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-saving, fair cultivation and are harvested exclusively by hand.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
