How are we different?

Our Andrographis paniculata is cultivated in its native India. The valuable andrographolides from the plant's leaves and stems are standardised to a content of 10%. The gentle, bioactive-preserving double extraction is performed using only water and food grade ethanol.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) is a plant belonging to the acanthus family native to India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The plant is a herbaceous plant with lanceolate leaves and small white flowers with a red corolla. In Nepali, its name is "King of Bitters" as it has bitter properties while harmoniously balancing all other flavours. Parts of the plant traditionally used are mainly leaves and stems, but also its root.

 

Dosage

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule daily with 200ml water after a meal.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Food supplements cannot replace a balanced and varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
