This eucalyptus is organically grown in the sunny Mediterranean region of Andalusia at an altitude of 500-800m in southern Spain. This vast landscape has an ideal climate with cold nights, very hot and dry days and Mediterranean winds. These seasonal temperature fluctuations result in a particularly concentrated and rich development of valuable ingredients and flavours such as monoterpenes (1.8-cineole) and sesquiterpenes. The fresh, aromatic plants are harvested throughout the year and gently processed directly on the farm. The oil is extracted directly after harvesting on the farm by steam distillation in accordance with the highest quality standards.
The manufacturer of our high-quality essential oil began producing its own essential oils around 1970. It is an experienced and certified company in the Murcia region of Spain. The employees work with experience according to ISO standards. The oils are extracted from essential oil plants, which come either from certified organic wild collections or controlled organic cultivation, by gentle steam distillation in a stainless steel tank or by cold pressing. The farmers and distillers plant, harvest and produce with passion and experience, which is reflected in the harmonious aromas of the essential oils. The products are certified with the EU organic seal.
The eucalyptus belongs to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). Our eucalyptus grows at an altitude of 500-800m in southern Spain. It grows sprawling with smooth bark that peels off in bands. Old trees have narrow lanceolate to sickle-shaped hanging medium to deep green leaves that grow up to 30cm long. From spring to summer, it produces individual white to cream-coloured flowers. It is native to Australia and Asia.
The subtle fragrance, which is both warming and refreshing, clears the air in the room, facilitates deep breathing and has a strong expectorant effect. The characteristic camphor note has a cleansing effect and clears the head.
