The original branded raw material Cactinea™ Silhouette made from organic nopal prickly pear fruit (Opuntia ficus-indica) provides a purely plant-based, patented and study-supported cactus prickly pear fruit powder for taking before meals in special metabolic situations. The powder is produced entirely without the use of solvents by the renowned French manufacturer Nexira. The prickly pear plants are grown in Tunisia under controlled organic and optimal climatic conditions. The prickly pear leaves are carefully harvested by hand so as not to destroy the delicate plants. They are then dried at low temperatures and ground into a fine powder. The result is a 100% pure nopal prickly pear leaf powder free from additives and carriers.

The filler, which is made of premium acacia fibre grown without pesticides, is the only additive. For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
