How are we different?
Our fermented wild garlic is produced from high-quality, organic wild garlic leaves. To make its ingredients optimally available, the leaves undergo a multi-stage PSF® fermentation process following gentle maceration (i.e., cold extraction).
While conventional wild garlic tinctures usually require high-proof alcohol, we harness the power of active microorganisms. These enzymatically break down the plant structures and gently convert the phytochemicals into a low-molecular, highly bioavailable form – completely without the use of alcohol. A particular advantage of this innovative process is the resulting high proportion of S-allyl-L-cysteine (SAC).
We add organic beet sugar at the start of the process; this serves exclusively as a food source for the living microorganisms and is almost fully metabolised during the weeks-long fermentation process so that less than 0.5g remains per 100g. The result is a living, unpasteurised, raw product of premium quality – alcohol-free, sugar-free, highly bioavailable and particularly gentle on the body.
Natural sediment or a light fizz upon opening are proof of the vitality of our high-quality fermented product; these normalise after a short time in the refrigerator. We package this product in light-protective amber glass instead of plastic.
Effects
Wild Garlic
Wild garlic (Allium ursinum), also known as ramsons or bear's garlic, is part of the amaryllis family that thrives in shady deciduous forests. In Germanic and Celtic traditions and later in European monastic medicine, wild garlic was considered a powerful "spring herb." Its beneficial properties are primarily drawn from the high proportion of secondary phytochemicals and organic sulfur compounds (organosulphur), which also give it its characteristic scent.
Dosage
Directions
Take 20 drops (approx. 1g) daily before or after a meal.
Note: This product contains live microorganisms and has not been pasteurised. For maximum freshness and quality, we recommend not touching the pipette with your tongue during use.
Fine threads, flakes or a small sediment may form; these are accumulations of the natural fermentation cultures and a sign of quality due to the formula's organic nature.
Vibrations or temperature fluctuations (e.g., during transport) may cause carbon dioxide, which is normally bound within the product, to temporarily escape the liquid, causing a slight hissing sound or pressure in the pipette when opened. After cooling in the refrigerator, the gas binds completely back into the liquid, normalising these effects.
Food Supplement
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. After opening, keep refrigerated and use daily to finish the product in a timely manner.
