The Cape of Good Hope has a dry Mediterranean climate, with cold, blustery winds from the Atlantic Ocean in spring and summer. These special climatic conditions coupled with mineral-rich soils create the ideal conditions for the formation of the unique active ingredients, such as viridiflorol and delta-cadinene. The flowering herb is harvested spring in the southern hemisphere and the highly pure essential oil is distilled with gentle steam.

The family business was founded in South Africa in 1993. It specialises in the cultivation, conventional and controlled organic, and wild collection of partly endemic essential oil plants. The cultivated plants thrive on their large farm near the coast, where they are harvested at the optimal harvest time and sorted as well as processed in their own production facility. The processing of the plants takes place in their own steam distillation plant. The quality of the products is high and certified. The family business cooperates worldwide and locally with South African tea and cosmetic companies.
Immortelle
This immortelle (Helichrysum crispum) belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae) and is endemic to the Western Cape in South Africa. The evergreen, fast-growing perennial has a growth height of up to 50 cm. It usually blooms throughout the year and produces silvery-green lance-shaped aromatic leaves and yellow flowers.
Aroma
