How are we different?
KSM-66® is a premium ashwagandha extract gently obtained from the plant's roots and offers the highest possible natural withanolide content of 5% in their natural balance. Higher concentrations can only be achieved by mixing with other extracts. The extraction process used for KSM-66® is highly pure and does not involve the use of alcohol or chemical solvents. Extracts produced for Sunday Natural also do not undergo any dairy-based pre-treatment, so our extract is suitable for vegans.
KSM-66® is the only ashwagandha producer in the world with its own farms, production facilities, testing laboratories and research centres. Due to the producer's standardisation of the active ingredient content, the extract is also suitable for clinical trials and has already been tested in many scientific studies.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a plant from the nightshade family. The name comes from Sanskrit and roughly translates as "smell of horse," as the roots have a strong scent that is reminiscent of horses. The term "somnifera" comes from Latin and can be translated as "sleep inducing" ("somnus" = sleep, "ferre" = to bring). In this formula, the roots and leaves of the ashwagandha plant are used and not the berry, which is poisonous in large quantities due to its alkaloid content and has a very bitter taste. The roots and leaves contain withanolides, the most widely studied phytochemicals in ashwagandha. These belong to the group of steroidal lactones and are similar to steroid hormones in their chemical structure.

Take 1–2 capsules (500mg organic ashwagandha extract per capsule) daily with 200ml water.
