How are we different?

For our highly pure Cistus extract (4:1), we use only high-quality European rockrose leaves. After careful harvesting, the fresh leaves are processed by water-ethanol extraction (8:2), which is gentle on the vital substances. In this process, the polyphenols contained are standardised to a content of at least 65%. No other solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, so that the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved.

We use special HPMC capsules as capsule shells which, in contrast to most other HPMC or Pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free of the controversial but non-declarable additives carrageenan and PEG. For packaging, we use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic.

Cistus

The pink rock rose (Cistus creticus) is a species of plant in the rock rose family (Cistaceae) which grows up to a metre high and bears colourful pink flowers. Cistus preparations have been used in Europe for many centuries, especially in the Mediterranean region. Both the leaves and the flowers were traditionally prepared as a flavourful tea. Greek experts therefore named Cistus the "Plant of Europe 1999".

Dosage

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule daily with 200ml water after a meal.
