Our high-quality organic grapefruit seed extract is obtained from the seeds and peels of the true grapefruit (Citrus paradisi Macf.). What sets our extract apart is the selection of organic raw materials, gentle processing, and the deliberate exclusion of unnecessary additives. This results in an inherently high-quality, exceptionally pure natural product.

The use of hand-harvested Spanish grapefruits from certified organic cultivation, combined with processing that meets the highest quality criteria, ensures a premium product. The phytochemicals are extracted in a gentle process using only water and organic ethanol, completely avoiding any additional solvents. It is guaranteed to be free from concerning synthetic substances such as benzethonium chloride, triclosan, or other synthetic preservatives.

Unlike conventional extracts, we also guarantee a consistently high naringin content of at least 1.16%. The only other ingredients included are plant-based organic glycerol and pure ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to stabilise and protect the sensitive phytochemicals.

We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.

Organic Grapefruit Extract

The grapefruit plant (Citrus paradisi) is a subtropical tree from the rue family (Rutaceae). It is believed that the grapefruit originated spontaneously at the end of the 18th century from a cross between the pomelo and the orange. The evergreen tree, with its citrus fruits ranging from yellow to pink to deep red, is primarily cultivated in subtropical countries today.

The bitter taste of the grapefruit is mainly attributed to the glycoside naringin, which belongs to the group of phytochemicals known as flavanones. Naringenin is an aglycone (cleavage product) of the bitter substance naringin.

Dosage

Directions

Take 25 drops (1.2 pipettefuls) three times daily with 200ml of water.

Contraindications

Interactions with medications possible. If taking blood pressure or cholesterol-lowering drugs, consume only after consulting a doctor.

Food Supplement

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Storage

Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. For optimal shelf life, store in the refrigerator.
