How are we different?

Our silver fir extract is obtained by pure water extraction. For this, the branches of the silver fir are crushed, dried, macerated and then filtered. The extracted liquid is concentrated at 60°C under vacuum. Following a careful spray-drying process, a pure extract with a standardised high polyphenol content of 66% is obtained.

In contrast to customary synthetic fillers like microcrystalline cellulose, which is mixed with nano-particles, we use only natural, fibre-rich acacia fibre as a natural filler. Our acacia fibre is sustainably sourced from climate-neutral, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Silver Fir (Abies alba Mill.)

The silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) is a European conifer from the fir genus of the pine family. The name "silver fir" is inspired by the striking, light grey bark, distinguishing it from the common spruce. The bark and wood of silver fir are particularly rich in polyphenols. The silver fir has also been widely used since antiquity, and in medieval herbalism, the species was associated with power. Many parts of the silver fir can be used for therapeutic purposes, icluding the needles, shoots, cones, seeds and resin. Fresh shoots are commonly used to make fir tea.

Directions

Take 1 capsule (220mg Silver Fir Extract per capsule) with 200ml water daily.
