Our Holy Basil Tulsi Extract combines the branded raw material Holixer™ with Vitamin B1 to support the normal functioning of the nervous system and psyche.
Holixer™ is a patented, plant-based extract from the leaves of the Indian basil, also known as holy basil or tulsi. The plant is cultivated according to the principles of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), nourished only with natural, nutrient-rich fertilisers and grown without the use of pesticides. The pure extract is obtained through a gentle extraction with pure water and food-grade alcohol. No other solvents are used, so the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved. A highly concentrated powder is obtained through gentle spray-drying of the standardised extract. This is enriched with high-quality Vitamin B1 as directly bioactive thiamine hydrochloride.
As the only other ingredient, we use premium gum arabic as a pure, natural filler, sourced from cultivation without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to commonly used synthetic fillers like microcrystalline cellulose (which can contain nanoparticles), we use a natural, fibre-rich food as our filler. Our gum arabic is sourced from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.
