How are we different?

Our horse chestnut extract is obtained from the seeds of horse chestnuts (Aesculus Hippocastanum L.) by means of pure water-ethanol extraction (food grade). No additional extracting agents or carriers are required for this process. The extracted liquid is concentrated under vacuum and spray-dried to preserve the ingredients, resulting in a pure extract with a standardized high content of 20% aescin.

We use special HPMC capsules as capsule shells which, unlike most other HPMC or pullulan capsules on the market, are produced 100% without the undeclared excipients carrageenan and PEG. We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.

Horse chestnut

The common horse chestnut (also known as the white horse chestnut) with the Latin name Aesculus hippocastanum is a tree species originally from western Asia and south-eastern Europe. It has been spreading in most regions of Europe since the 16th century. The horse chestnut is best known for its fruits, which fall in the autumn and are also known as chestnuts.
