How are we different?
Our couch grass root extract is obtained from the underground roots of couch grass (Elymus repens) via pure water extraction. The roots are carefully dried, crushed and then extracted with water. The gentle vacuum drying process concentrates the valuable ingredients fourfold. No additional extraction agents or carriers are required for this process.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

The couch grass (Elymus repens) belongs to the sweet grass family and is native to Europe, North Africa and the temperate zones of Asia. The herbaceous plant grows in clumps and spreads by creeping rhizomes (underground root runners). The plant is a pioneer plant and prefers to grow in moderately moist, nutrient- and base-rich, dense loam or clay soils in semi-shady to sunny locations. It is very undemanding and highly competitive. Its name derives from the characteristics "lively, quick, tenacious".
