How are we different?

Our gotu kola plants come from their indigenous terroir in India and are extracted after harvesting between January and April using clear water and food grade alcohol. The result is a highly pure extract in a ratio of 6:1 with a standardised content of 10% asiaticosides plus 5% triterpene glycosides.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)

A plant with a long tradition, gotu kola (Centella asiatica) thrives particularly well in tropical climates and is found mainly in India and Sri Lanka, but also in China, Indonesia, South America or Malaysia. Gotu kola belongs to the umbelliferae family and is also known as Indian pennywort or tiger grass. The plant has a variety of valuable compounds, including terpenoids such as asiaticosides.
