Dietary Fibre
Plant-based foods contain a variety of dietary fibres. These special oligo- and polysaccharides are fermented by the numerous bacterial strains in the gut collectively known as the microbiome. Scientific studies have shown that dietary fibre exhibits different properties depending on the plant from which it was isolated, with each type serving as a source of food for specific bacterial species (e.g., Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Lactobacilli or Bifidobacteria). Focusing on the intake of a variety of dietary fibre therefore seems to be key. All of our plant-based fibres are completely vegan. Our new human milk oligosaccharides (HMO) are vegetarian.

Oat Beta-Glucans
Our natural oat extract (Avena sativa L.) is obtained via pure water-ethanol extraction and is standardised to 70% beta-glucans. A daily intake of 3g oat beta-glucans supports the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, while 4g of oat beta-glucans per day supports the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Konjac Glucomannan
Finely ground konjac root (devil's tongue) with 95% glucomannan. Certified organic. An intake of 3g glucomannan per day contributes to weight loss as part of a low-calorie diet.
XOS + GOS
The complex polysaccharides (dietary fibres) xylo- and glucooligosaccharides (XOS + GOS) in a 1:1 ratio from innovative non-GMO production with maize and sugar beet. While XOS and GOS cannot be broken down by human digestive enzymes, some microorganisms, such as bifido- and lactobacteria, use these dietary fibres as a food source.
