Olive Farm

Konstantinos Pramataris cultivates premium organic Koroneiki and Athinoelia olives on his olive garden located in sun-drenched Laconia in southeastern Peloponnese. The estate's roughly 2000 olive trees span a 12-hectare area and are managed using strictly organic farming practices. The olives are harvested particularly early in the season (October to mid-November) and quickly brought to the estate's own mill directly in the grove. This quick, gentle process and immediate cool storage guarantee a high-quality olive oil.

Cultivation & Processing

The Greek Koroneiki olive is considered the "queen of olives" and forms the basis for some of the highest quality olive oils in the world. Although the fruits are quite small, they are impressive due to their exceptionally high content of antioxidants and their enormous yield.

This olive oil is a single-variety organic extra virgin olive oil of the Koroneiki variety. The harvest takes place from early October to mid-November, which gives the product a high nutritional value and a unique composition of flavours, which is attributed to the special microclimate of the Laconia region. The resulting oil delights with a fine balance of intensely fruity notes, freshly cut grass, green apple and a pleasant bitterness on the finish. This makes it the perfect choice for gourmets who want to refine salads, grilled meat or Mediterranean dishes at the highest level.
