Mint
Up to 30 species of mint (Mentha) exist worldwide, most of which are native to temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere. The best-known varieties are probably peppermint, spearmint and wild mint. The first recorded description of peppermint, which is known for its strong menthol notes, was in England in the 17th century. Spearmint, also known as green mint, is used for teas in many regions. Our producers extract the 100% natural essential oils from the leaves of the organic plants through gentle steam distillation.
