These ylang ylang trees thrive controlled organic on the tropical islands of the Comoros. The oceanic stimulating climate with its winds and minerals, the tropical temperatures with heat and humidity, offer the Ylang Ylang trees optimal growing conditions. As a result, they form their particularly intense aromas in a harmonious ratio, such as benzyl acetate and germacrene. The flowers are gently harvested by hand by the farmers throughout the year and gently distilled with steam within the first hours. The 1st fraction is obtained within the first 2 hours of distillation, in it are found the remaining slightly volatile as well as heavier floral aromas. The experience as well as passion in cultivation, harvest and experience is found in this essential oil very harmoniously.

This essential oil is sourced from a renowned and certified producer based in Valréas in northern Provence, France. The company was founded in 1980 and owns several essential oil plantations and farms all over the world. The origin and quality of the plants are well documented, and the company ensures that the highest standards are maintained and works professionally and passionately to produce excellent essential oils.

The oils are produced from freshly harvested plant materials via steam distillation. The experienced producers use a very gentle distillation method with low water pressure, which allows for the near complete extraction of the plants' valuable phytochemicals. Their products are certified organic according to French EcoCert standards.

The ylang ylang trees thrive in tropical and subtropical forests from India to Australia, as well as on the Pacific Islands and the Indian Ocean, in countries such as the Comoros and Madagascar. These exotic plants belong to the Annonaceae family. The tree grows up to 20m tall, and has hanging branches with medium to dark green leaves. In autumn, it produces clusters of highly fragrant yellow flowers. Distilled in stages, the petals produce different distillates with correspondingly different aromas within the period of around 20 hours.

The spicy-sweet scent relaxes, makes you in a good mood and can inspire new ideas.
