The producer of our high-quality essential oil is a small family-run company that has been growing, cultivating, harvesting and processing its own citrus fruits and those from cooperatives since around 1950. The company is located in the heart of Calabria, Italy. The fresh citrus fruits are harvested and processed throughout the year and are processed for essential oil production from October to January. The 100% natural, certified organic essential oils are gently extracted in our own production facility using cold pressing.
Bergamot
Bergamot grows on an evergreen citrus tree and belongs to the rue family (Rutaceae). It forms a rounded crown and winged petioles, its white fragrant flowers become pale yellow pear-shaped round fruits. Originally believed to have its origin in Asia, today it is primarily cultivated in Calabria, Italy, a region known for bergamot cultivation.
