Finest Origin - Highest Grade

This English lavender is cultivated in the Drôme department of France at an elevation of 800m. The climate in this region offers optimal growing conditions for the plant, allowing the lavender buds to fully develop their aromas and other valuable compounds, which is why only the fresh buds are harvested for use in the distillation of this essential oil.

Farm

This essential oil is sourced from a renowned and certified producer based in Valréas in northern Provence, France. The company was founded in 1980 and owns several essential oil plantations and farms all over the world. The origin and quality of the plants are well documented, and the company ensures that the highest standards are maintained and works professionally and passionately to produce excellent essential oils.
The oils are produced from freshly harvested plant materials via steam distillation. The experienced producers use a very gentle distillation method with low water pressure, which allows for the near complete extraction of the plants' valuable phytochemicals. Their products are certified organic according to French EcoCert standards.

Lavender

English lavender belongs to the mint family (Lamiaceae) and originates from the Mediterranean region, with perhaps the most famous variety thriving in the department of Alpes-de-Haute Provence in southern France. The plant grows fairly compactly and bush-like. Its leaves are grey-green and its pale to dark purple flowers bloom on 8cm long spikes. The shape as well as scent of lavender is dependent on the elevation at which it grows.

The floral lavender aroma, with its sweet-spicy notes relaxes, balances and promotes feelings of optimism.
