The hydrolysed protein from the pea (Pisum sativum) is obtained using state-of-the-art technology: after extraction of the pea protein, the long peptide chains are enzymatically broken down (hydrolysed) into shorter chains, down to individual amino acids. This process increases the solubility of the entire protein, allowing clear drinks to be produced. Pea protein does not naturally have a satisfactory amino acid profile, which is why we complete the mixture with the addition of the purely vegan amino acids L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine and L-methionine.
