How are we different?
The combination of vitamins B1 and C with the phytochemicals quercetin from Sophora japonica flower extract, taxifolin, rutin and bromelain unfolds its particularly powerful synergy through the unique interaction of the selected ingredients.
Our vitamin B1 is available as thiamine hydrochloride, a stable and very effective form of vitamin B1. As the immediately active form of vitamin B1 is not authorised as a food supplement in Germany, we have therefore opted for a particularly pure, high-quality and vegan premium raw material, which has the highest possible bioavailability and purity.
For our Vitamin C Ultra we use the special active ingredient PureWay-C® in high-purity premium quality. A unique, synergistically effective combination of vitamin C which, due to its special coating with plant-based fatty acids and a citrus bioflavonoid complex, achieves significantly higher absorption than conventional vitamin C preparations. The coating allows the vitamin C to be better absorbed into the blood and cells and has a long-lasting retention time. It is also well-tolerated by the stomach. The coating is responsible for its high storage stability and protection against oxidation.
We use a 100% natural, purely plant-based extract from the flowers of the Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica) for the quercetin it contains. This is standardised to contain at least 95% quercetin and does not contain any synthetic quercetin, which has a low bioavailability. The pure water-ethanol extraction process does not include the use of other extraction agents such as N-hexane or methanol.
The rutin used is a 100% natural, purely plant-based extract of the Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica) with a rutin content of at least 95%. We therefore completely avoid synthetic rutin. Only the naturally flavonoid-rich flower buds of the tree are processed, which come from wild collection or sustainable agroforestry. The use of pesticides and artificial fertilisers is completely avoided in the growing regions.
Our natural bromelain is obtained by gentle water extraction from the stems of the pineapple fruit (Ananas comosus), which have the highest bromelain content. Only fresh, ripe fruit is used, which is processed immediately after harvesting. Following water extraction, the bromelain obtained is carefully spray-dried. This produces a highly pure raw material that does not require the use of genetic engineering or carriers such as maltodextrin.
The taxifolin (dihydroquercetin) it contains is obtained from natural larch bark (Larix gmelinii) using a high-purity water-ethanol extraction process. We deliberately avoid the use of carriers such as maltodextrin or silicon dioxide and the use of genetic engineering in the production process.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Quercetin, one of the bioflavonoids, is one of the most frequently occurring polyphenols (aromatic compounds) in the plant world. As plant pigments, flavonoids are responsible for the colouring of flowers and leaves as well as for protecting plants from certain environmental influences.
Quercetin is particularly concentrated in the outer layers of plants and fruits, for example in grapes, apples or onions. However, if the skins are removed, the quercetin content drops to almost zero. Quercetin contains the word "quercus", the Latin name for oak, in whose bark particularly high concentrations of the polyphenol have been discovered. However, the outer layers of other tree species also have a high content of the active flavonoid.
The Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica), from whose pure flower extract we obtain our 100% natural and available quercetin, contains exceptionally high amounts of quercetin.
Taxifolin
The flavonoid taxifolin (dihydroquercetin) occurs naturally in onions, apple peel, citrus fruits and in the wood of various conifers, including the bark of the larch (Larix gmelinii). Larch is very popular in the timber industry due to its durability and resilience. A number of plant compounds are responsible for these positive properties, including the high levels of taxifolin.
Bromelain
Bromelain is a proteolytic (i.e., protein-splitting) enzyme that occurs naturally in the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus). This valuable phytochemical was already highly valued by Native Americans. The enzyme is extracted from the stem of the plant, as this contains the most bromelain. The concentration of the phytochemicals in the pulp is relatively low, which is why it is not enough to eat large quantities of pineapple regularly to absorb significant amounts of bromelain. Our bromelain is obtained from the fresh, bromelain-rich stems of the pineapple. Juice is pressed from the peeled and chopped stems and the bromelain is then gently extracted using water extraction, freeze-dried and finely ground.
