How are we different?
Our formula combines a high-dose, natural and organic turmeric powder with highly concentrated curcuminoids from turmeric extract. It provides an ideal synergy of high-dose curcuminoids with other valuable root ingredients.
Generic turmeric extracts available on the market often consist of only isolated curcuminoids and may even be enriched with synthetically produced curcuminoids. We use exclusively 100% natural, premium extracts. Our 30:1 extract achieves a standardised value of 95% curcuminoids and, as an ultra pure ethanol extract, is guaranteed free from toxic extraction residues such as n-hexane, acetone and methanol.
Turmeric powders vary greatly in terms of quality. This is partly due to the addition of food colouring to enhance the appearance of the curcumin. Other additives are used to increase the weight and volume of the product. Our powder contains 100% pure turmeric powder with 3.7% curcuminoids, which are free from sweeteners and preservatives. Good quality turmeric products have a natural range of 2.5% to 5% curcuminoid content.
In many instances, turmeric is cultivated with water that has been polluted with heavy metals or pesticides, which then build up in the plant itself. Our Organic Turmeric 3300 is not only 100% natural, but also sourced directly from an organically certified producer in India, who ensures the turmeric plants are cultivated without pesticides or irradiation. The turmeric bulbs are shade-dried, finely ground, and extracted (i.e., used directly in a powder form). The fresher the turmeric is, the more essential oils and phytochemicals are retained, while oxidation and light exposure reduce the effectiveness of the powder. For this reason, we do not use any turmeric powder that has been stored for extended periods of time. We use only fresh powder taken directly after harvest.
According to our own experiences and research, the quality of raw turmeric is not always guaranteed. Microbiological factors (such as salmonella, bacteria and mould) are an inherent concern. We utilise a gentle steam sterilisation method to cleanse the product, which is a requirement for all high-grade raw turmeric ingredients sourced from India.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), a plant native to India that belongs to the family of ginger plants, has been considered sacred for more than 5000 years. The ancient Indian Vedas scriptures indicate that the "yellow root," or "Indian saffron," has long been one of the country's most important spices. In Ayurvedic tradition as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the root is still believed to have important medicinal and therapeutic uses, and has warming, cleansing, and stimulating properties. In Europe, different types of yellow root have also been known to serve as liver and gall bladder remedies since ancient times. Turmeric is one of the most well-researched plants in the world, with most scientific interest focussing on the plant's unique curcuminoids. However, other components of the root (such as essential oils and tumerosaccharides) are increasingly becoming the focal point of research.
Curcuminoids, or "Curcumin"
Curcumin, cyclocurcumin, bisdemethoxycurcumin, and demethoxycurcumin (the curcuminoids, or "curcumin") are key components of the root. Each capsule of our premium turmeric extract contains 100mg pure curcuminoids. Organic piperine acts as a bioenhancer, increasing absorption of the non-easily-soluble, lipophilic curcuminoids with a low bioavailability by 2000%. The extract is derived through an ultra pure ethanol extraction process and is therefore guaranteed free from toxic extraction residues such as n-hexane, acetone, and methanol.
20x Higher Bioavailability Due to Piperine
The alkaloid piperine is a bioenhancer commonly found in pepper that improves the bioavailability of other ingredients by increasing intestinal wall permeability and blocking liver enzymes (CYP-enzymes) that impede the reabsorption of certain ingredients due to the first pass effect. The piperine used in our products is derived from black pepper extract and is guaranteed free from synthetic materials as well as pesticides and toxic extraction residues such as n-hexane, acetone and methanol.
