How are we different?
Our high-quality, fine cocoa coins combine enjoyment with the valuable effects of zinc, biotin and vitamin C for comprehensive care of the skin, hair and nails, supporting beauty from within – for an exclusive intake of these important nutrients. Zinc, biotin and vitamin C contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, zinc and biotin to the maintenance of normal hair and zinc to the maintenance of normal nails. Vitamin C also contributes to normal collagen formation. Our cocoa coins are complemented by botanical extracts from golden millet and bamboo shoots, hyaluronic acid as the main component of the connective tissue between skin cells, as well as coenzyme Q10 plus other selected B vitamins.
The production takes place in a Belgian chocolate factory: we use fine cocoa from the carefully selected Trinitario variety from cultivation in the Dominican Republic (Monte Plata region), known for its exceptionally fine aroma. Our coins are 100% vegan and are only sweetened with the functional sugar tagatose. The purity of our coins is reflected in the list of ingredients: we use only cocoa butter and mass plus our premium combination of phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals as well as tagatose; we completely avoid the use of emulsifiers and allergens such as gluten, soya or lactose. Our cocoa coins are then artistically decorated with an exquisite lotus blossom.
We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
Effects
According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):
- Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin.
- Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin B12 plays a role in cell division.
