How are we different?
Our Multimineral Complex Sensitive without iodine, copper and iron provides a finely balanced blend of important minerals and trace elements. The formula has been specifically optimised for an increased need for zinc and manganese and was developed in collaboration with Silke Nunner.
The intake of minerals should always be based on individual needs. While minerals such as zinc and manganese are essential for numerous body functions, the intake of iron, iodine or copper may not be desired in certain situations. Our Multimineral Complex Sensitive enables the targeted intake of selected micronutrients with a focus on zinc, manganese and magnesium.
The composition focuses on the supply of essential minerals and trace elements. An additional intake of vitamin B6 (as directly available pyridoxal 5'-phosphate), vitamin D or other phytochemicals can be individually combined if required.
We use a dosage of 15mg per capsule and a combination of different compounds for the trace element zinc. The zinc and magnesium complex consists of three forms each: zinc malate, zinc bisglycinate and zinc lysinate, as well as magnesium taurate, magnesium glycinate and magnesium malate for optimal absorption. Also included are manganese as manganese gluconate, selenium as sodium selenite, silica from bamboo extract (Bambusa arundinacea), organic sulphur (MSM), boron, chromium picolinate and sodium molybdate.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.

Daily Requirements
Zinc
Zinc is an essential trace element that must be supplied in sufficient quantities every day. The official daily requirement (DGE) for zinc in Germany is 7mg for women and 10mg for men (NRV: 10mg) in order to avoid a deficiency. There is an increased need for zinc in certain diseases, such as hypothyroidism in particular, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Manganese
The European EFSA has set a reference value of 2mg for the daily requirement of manganese. According to the German Nutrition Society, adults need 2-5mg of manganese per day, depending on their needs.
Magnesium
The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of 300 to 400mg magnesium (NRV: 375mg). However, the need for magnesium varies from person to person according to biochemical individuality and can be greatly increased in stressful situations.
Selenium
The official daily requirement (DGE) for selenium in Germany is 30-70µg (NRV: 55µg) to avoid a deficiency.
Chromium
The European EFSA has set a reference value of 40µg for the daily requirement of chromium. According to the German Nutrition Society, adults need 30-100µg of chromium per day. However, as the chromium content of our food varies greatly, this is not always guaranteed.
Molybdenum
The German Nutrition Society's recommended intake of molybdenum is 50-100µg per day for adults.
