The iary plant is endemic to the highlands of central Madagascar. This coastal area, with its oceanic and tropical climate, offers optimal growing conditions for the plant, allowing it to develop a rich assortment of concentrated aromas and ingredients, such as beta-pinene and beta-ocimene.
The wildcrafted iary plants are gently hand-harvested at an altitude of 1,000m by experienced farmers. The fresh petals and leaves are then brought to the local distillery, where they are gently processed via steam distillation in a stainless steel tank.
