The hyssop is sourced from certified organic cultivation in the vast, sunny countryside of Italy, where the Mediterranean climate and dry, slightly calcareous soils provide ideal conditions for the development of the plant's unique aromas. In July, the aromatic leaves are carefully harvested, then processed via gentle steam distillation to produce this aromatic oil. Iso-pinocamphone, pinocamphone and beta-pinene, among others, are found in this essential oil.

The essential oils are extracted on site either by gentle steam distillation in a stainless steel tank or by cold pressing. The first certified organic products date back to 2001.
