In selecting our raw materials, we have taken care to use highly active bacterial strains. These are produced under strict quality controls through modern fermentation, during which any contact with genetically modified organisms is excluded. On the market, genetically modified bacterial strains are often cultivated for economic reasons.
Our Flora Mucosa with LP299v® is composed of the special bacterial strain Lactiplantibacillus plantarum LP299v®, Vitamin A and biotin, as well as specific dietary fibres. The cultivation of the bacteria takes place under standardised and controlled conditions. Following the fermentation process, a purification and gentle freeze-drying takes place for the optimal preservation of the lactic acid bacteria's viability. As further ingredients, we use Vitamin A as bioactive, 100% vegan retinyl palmitate and D-biotin of premium quality (99.32% purity), and we consciously combine these with the natural dietary fibres from gum arabic, which can serve as a food source for bifidobacteria.
As the only other ingredient, we use premium gum arabic as a pure, natural filler, sourced from cultivation without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to commonly used synthetic fillers like microcrystalline cellulose (which can contain nanoparticles), we use a natural, fibre-rich food as our filler. Our gum arabic is sourced from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.
We use patented, stomach acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DR® Caps) as capsule shells. We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.
