Finest Origin - Highest Grade

The cypress trees for this essential oil are certified organically grown in Provence, France. The climatic conditions including temperature fluctuations as well as rich soil ensure that the cypress trees are rich in the plant compounds that are responsible for aroma. In addition to coumarin, cypress contains alpha-pinene and delta-3-carene. To produce the essential oils, the freshly harvested stems and leaves are gently steam distilled by experienced and passionate farmers at their on-site distillery.

Farm

We source this essential oil directly from a renowned manufacturer located in Provence, France. The company began producing essential oils around 1900, making it an experienced pioneer in the field. The family-run business distills plants both directly on-site and at its global cooperatives. The plants are sourced from certified organic cultivation and/or from wild collection. The essential oils are extracted via either steam distillation or cold pressing. The producer's experience and passion is reflected by its high-quality products.

Cypress

True cypress belongs to the cypress family (Cupressaceae). These evergreen trees can grow up to 20-30m tall and take on either a thin, pointed shape or an expansive and bushy form. The leaves are scale-like, and the female cones are round or egg-shaped with spines. This family is native to a broad region stretching from the Mediterranean to India. Today cypress grow across southern France and southern Europe.

Aroma

This resinous, refreshing fragrance energises the body and mind, providing stability and confidence.
