We obtain this essential oil from a renowned and certified producer in the Provençal countryside Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France. The company was founded around 1900 and has worldwide cooperation partners, small to large farms with essential oil plants, where according to quality standards is produced professionally and passionately. The origin and quality of the plants are therefore very well documented. The essential oils are extracted on site either by gentle steam distillation in a stainless steel tank or by cold pressing. The first certified organic products date back to 2001.
Field Mint
Corn mint (also known as field mint), which, along with peppermint and spearmint, belongs to the Lamiaceae family, grows mainly in the northern hemisphere, such as Europe and Asia. It prefers moist, nutrient-rich as well as warm locations and usually grows up to 40cm high. It produces rich green and slightly hairy leaves and pink to purple flowers from June to October.
