How are we different?

Our 100% plant-based caffeine is obtained from unroasted green coffee beans (Coffea arabica) by means of an ultra-pure extraction using only water and food grade ethanol. The extract contains at least 90% caffeine, in addition to many other valuable phytochemicals. The plant-based caffeine is purified through the 50:1 extraction of the beans, which are grown without the use of plant protection products in India. Most manufacturers, however, base their caffeine formulations on synthetically produced, high-dose caffeine.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

Caffeine is a xanthine alkaloid found in high amounts in the seeds of the coffee bush (coffee beans). It also occurs naturally in over 60 other plants, such as the tea plant, guaraná, the mate bush and the kola nut. The discoverer of caffeine is Friedlieb Runge, who first succeeded in isolating the pure compound from coffee beans in 1819.

Dosage

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule (200mg caffeine) with 200ml water daily.
