Conventional vitamin E supplements usually contain individual, isolated and synthetic vitamin E active ingredients, especially synthetic alpha-tocopherol. Synthetic vitamin E has poorer bioactivity and is even suspected of causing negative health effects. In addition, isolated active ingredients do not correspond to the composition of natural foods, which always contain a mixture of different topcopherols and tocotrienols. Our vitamin E complex contains the full natural vitamin E spectrum in a balanced ratio. It provides all 4 tocopherols and all 4 tocotrienols in a bioactive complex.
Natural vitamin E is usually extracted with a mixture of chemical solvents (e.g., acetone, cyclohexane, diethyl ether or methanol). Many active ingredients therefore show considerable residues of these solvents, as our own tests have shown. After extensive research into active ingredients, we have found this extremely pure vitamin E active ingredient, which shows only barely measurable extraction residues in our own tests.
Many of the supposedly natural vitamin E complexes on the market are actually mixed together from individual vitamin E active ingredients. In addition, the majority of natural vitamin E active ingredients on the market are made from soy (allergen and hormone potential) or ecologically questionable palm oil. Our vitamin E, on the other hand, is 100% pure rice and rice bran oil with an absolutely natural vitamin E spectrum.
Our airtight and leak-proof GreenCaps protect the selected oil-based raw materials from oxidation. The capsule shells are filled under nitrogen gassing and hermetically sealed with an additional sealing ring. This ensures optimum freshness and shelf life of the valuable ingredients. Unlike most other HPMC capsule shells, GreenCaps made from HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) are 100% free from additives such as carrageenan, gelatine and PEG. They are highly pure, vegan, gluten-free and allergen-free. We use light-protected amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.
