All our vegetarian vitamin D3 capsules contain a high-quality premium vitamin D3 as the active ingredient, specially manufactured for us without hidden additives – only with MCT oil from coconut and natural vitamin E. The active ingredient is characterised by its purity and guaranteed vitamin D3 content. D3 active ingredients very often contain a whole range of sometimes extremely questionable additives that do not have to be declared, such as synthetic vitamin E, ascorbyl palmitate, silicon dioxide, modified starch, sucrose, denatured vegetable oils and maltodextrin. Due to the complex custom-made production according to our specifications, our vitamin D3 is exceptionally pure. It is produced for us by a specialised manufacturer in a complex process.
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and can only be absorbed by the body together with fats. Our vitamin D3 powder also delivers the vitamin D3 in an oil base: the vitamin D3 is first dissolved in MCT oil from coconut and then dried into a fine powder. The powder also contains the fat-soluble vitamin E as natural D-alpha-tocopherol. This ensures optimal absorption of vitamin D3 even in capsule form. Both the high-quality, medium-chain fatty acids of the MCT oil and the vitamin E are valuable nutrients in themselves.
To achieve an absolutely even distribution of the vitamin D3 in the active ingredient powder and thus an exact dosage of the capsules, only pure, 100% nanoparticle-free microcrystalline cellulose is used. Common fluctuations in the active ingredient content between the capsules do not occur. Our vitamin D3 powder is also rich in high-quality MCT oil from coconut for better absorption of the fat-soluble vitamin D3. Natural vitamin E protects the active ingredient from oxidation and ensures optimal shelf life.
The only other ingredient we use is premium acacia fibre as a purely natural filler from cultivation without plant protection products. In contrast to the otherwise common synthetic filler microcrystalline cellulose, which is mixed with nanoparticles, we use a natural, fibre-rich food as a filler. Our acacia fibre comes from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.
For the capsule shells, we use special HPMC capsules which, unlike most other HPMC or pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from the controversial but undeclared additives carrageenan and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
