Urovital

Organic Urovital is a unique combination of hand-selected functional mushrooms, nutrients and plant extracts that support the immune system (vitamin C) and mucous membranes (vitamin B2). This holistic product was developed in collaboration with Marcel Riffel.

At the heart of Urovital is a carefully selected blend of potent functional mushroom extracts from reishi, cordyceps, shiitake and polyporus. Our functional mushrooms are sourced from the renowned mushroom-growing region of Gutian County (600–700m above sea level), in Fujian, China. The wealth of knowledge passed down through Chinese tradition for over 2000 years regarding the benefits and cultivation of these mushrooms is truly exceptional. Today, Chinese cultivators produce the most potent mushrooms, having refined their cultivation methods to the point where the cultivated mushrooms rival their wild counterparts.

Our functional mushroom extracts, which are certified organic according to EU standards, are obtained exclusively from the whole fruiting body of the mushrooms, including the stems, and contain the full richness of valuable nutrients. All our functional mushrooms contain valuable mushroom polysaccharides, in particular beta-(1-3),(1-6)-D-glucans. To further concentrate them, the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms are processed into extracts. The water and food-grade ethanol extraction is performed according to traditional methods that have been a part of Chinese as well as Western herbalism for centuries. This type of extraction is among the gentlest and has long been used to create plant extracts. The result is a pure extract that is free from any toxic residues of chemical solvents (such as acetone, N-hexane, methanol).

The functional mushroom blend is complemented by purely plant-based vitamin C from organic acerola fruit powder and a plant-based B complex. Our acerola vitamin C is a pure acerola fruit juice powder and contains valuable nutrients such as polyphenols. Acerola powders are often offered with artificially added vitamin C to achieve a vitamin C content of over 30% or even 40%. Our organic acerola naturally achieves a vitamin C content of 30% – without extraction.

Our natural vitamin B complex from organically certified, natural fruit and plant extracts in raw food quality from guava, tulsi, lemon peel and amla provides valuable natural B vitamins. The nutrients are obtained by gentle water extraction, which means that no chemical extraction agents are used and the natural purity of the raw materials is preserved throughout the process. This organic B complex from fruit and plant extracts contains natural methylfolate from lemon peel and the vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6 from guava leaves, tulsi and amla, embedded in the naturally rich context of numerous phytochemicals.

All our multi-nutrient blends are made from hand-picked premium active ingredients, which we have gathered over several years of research for the highest quality active ingredients worldwide. Almost all the ingredients come from completely natural sources; where these are not available, we use nature-identical, bioactive special active ingredients. The formulations thus stand out from other multi-preparations, which consist of inexpensive ready-made mixtures of synthetic single substances and also contain questionable additives such as artificial preservatives, sweeteners and fillers.

For the capsule shells, we use special HPMC capsules which, unlike most other HPMC or pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free of the undeclarable additives carrageenan and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
