Our original Sunvita® EM Ferment Bitter Complex is a gently formulated fermented enzyme drink containing bitter compounds. This formula contains effective microorganisms with 16 active bacterial and yeast strains as symbiotically grown multi-biotic cultures, all based on energised and vortexed water and Yoshi en Pu-Erh tea. How are we different?
Our Original Sunvita® EM Ferment Bitter Complex is based on our own premium formula: we rely on 16 active, specially selected microorganism strains with a concentration of live cultures (CFU) with 1 billion viable microorganisms per 20ml. We use Yoshi en Pu-Erh tea, energised and vortexed water, grape seed flour and reishi extract as a unique base for our EM fermented drink. The formula is further enriched with 10 carefully selected plant extracts – for the natural power of bitter compounds.
The active microorganisms are naturally and symbiotically grown and guaranteed non-GMO. They are well nourished, active and have been living in a bacteria-friendly environment for multiple weeks. Since the live, active microorganisms can protect themselves from stomach acid, enteric-coated capsules are not required and the fermented drink can be consumed as a pure liquid.
As our EM fermented drink is deliberately not pasteurised, all the natural, raw nutrients are completely preserved. All cultures and raw ingredients are organic certified, vegan, lactose- and gluten-free.

The term "effective microorganisms" (EM) refers to a specific, symbiotic blend of naturally occurring aerobic (oxygen-loving) and anaerobic (oxygen-avoiding) microorganisms. Instead of competing for resources, they promote each other's growth and form a stable, strong environment. This term was coined in the 1980s by Japanese professor Dr. Teruo Huga, who discovered that microorganisms function best when they work together in symbiosis rather than in isolation.

Our Sunvita® EM Ferment Sensitive is produced through a 100% natural manufacturing process, deliberately taking a different approach from conventional products. In contrast to drinks containing inactive, frozen and genetically modified bacterial strains produced in isolation, the production of our fermented enzyme drink focuses on life. 16 bacterial and yeast strains grow together as effective microorganisms in a single, living and symbiotic culture, where each strain mush assert itself in a limited habitat, resulting in an overall highly active and resilient culture.
This harmonious formula is achieved through a precise and elaborate multi-stage fermentation process. Over several weeks, the phytochemicals and mushroom extracts are optimally broken down through the staggered addition of microorganisms and converted into their bioactive form via biotransformation. The living bacterial strains simultaneously produce important metabolic by-products during the process (which does not happen with inactive bacteria). Instead of molasses, our culture medium comprises a high-quality combination with date syrup, which is almost entirely consumed during the course of fermentation.
