How are we different?

The production of our vegan SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine) does not involve the use of any animal products, including gelatine, hair and feathers. Instead, this amino acid is obtained via fermenting non-GMO corn. This sustainable, plant-based raw material serves as the basis for the microorganisms used in the fermentation process.

The only other ingredient is premium acacia fibre, cultivated without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to microcrystalline cellulose, a widely used synthetic filler often mixed with nanoparticles, gum arabic is a natural, fibre-rich food. Our fair trade acacia gum is climate neutral and is sustainably cultivated to conserve resources.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Dosage

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule (200mg SAMe) daily with 200ml water and a meal.
