How are we different?

Our rosemary extract is obtained from the leaves of sustainably cultivated rosemary plants (Rosmarinus officinalis) by means of pure water-ethanol extraction. This extract contains a standardised content of at least 20% rosmarinic acid. No additional extracting agents or carriers are required for this process.

The only other ingredient we use is a natural filler made from gum arabic. Our premium gum arabic comes from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-saving and fair cultivation without the use of pesticides. In contrast to the frequently used synthetic filler microcrystalline cellulose with nanoparticles, we use a natural, fibre-rich foodstuff as a filler.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

The aromatic, fragrant evergreen rosemary shrub belongs to the Lamiaceae family. Its purple-blue to white flowers are particularly favoured by bees and butterflies. Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is primarily known today as a spice. However, the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Romans initially used rosemary exclusively in religious and purifying ceremonies. In the Middle Ages, rosemary sprigs were also used to fumigate and cleanse rooms to protect against evil spirits and illnesses, which is why it is also known as "incense herb".
