Our Nutrabar® "Fruity Lemon" for kids is a premium, vegan functional bar with the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. What sets our bar apart is its uncompromising ingredient list: a pure base of natural whole foods complemented by targeted nutrients, entirely free from unnecessary synthetic additives.
To provide optimal protection for the sensitive omega-3 fatty acids in this high-quality algae oil, we use a combination of natural rosemary extract and extracts rich in tocopherols (vitamin E). This carefully balanced formulation preserves the freshness of the fatty acids and guarantees high quality and a long shelf life.
Instead of refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, Nutrabar® relies on the natural sweetness of soluble tapioca fibre and rice syrup, resulting in just 1.9g total sugar. Natural lemon oil provides a fruity lemon flavour, which is complemented by bourbon vanilla. The formula is rounded off with rich cashew butter for a signature velvety texture.
We utilise 100% plant-based apple pectin as a gelling agent. Where mass-market alternatives rely on cheap animal gelatin or synthetic bulking agents, we consciously choose this premium, plant-derived alternative.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are a special category of polyunsaturated fatty acids. They form an integral part of bodily cell membranes and are a precursor of important tissue hormones. Eicosanoid tissue hormones formed from omega-3 fatty acids influence several important bodily functions including brain and heart functioning.
The biologically active omega-3 fatty acids are docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). The EFSA has so far approved the following statements on the effect:
