How are we different?

Our full spectrum olive extract is obtained via a pure water and good-grade ethanol extraction. Due to their high phytochemical content, both the olive fruit and leaves are used. The standardised production conditions result in an extract with a guaranteed high content of oleuropein of 20%, triterpenic acids of 13%, hydroxytyrosol of 3% and tocopherols of 3%. No other solvents (i.e., methanol or acetone) are used in order to prevent the natural purity of the raw materials. Due to the manufacturer's commitment to sustainability, the plants are sourced from farms located close to the distillery in order to minimise carbon emissions. All waste products generated during the extraction process are then collected and returned to the farms as fertiliser. The supplier is also a sponsor of an initiative called "Sustainex", which is a case study for the transition from a fossil fuel-based economy to a new green and sustainable economy.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

The olive tree (Olea europaea) is a gnarled, medium-sized tree from the olive tree genus (Olea), which belongs to the olive tree family (Oleaceae). The olive tree and its fruits have been used for thousands of years for multiple purposes, with records even indicating that Hildegard von Bingen used olive leaves to make a soothing tea.

Dosage

Directions

Take 1–3 capsules (500mg olive extract per capsule) with 200ml water daily.
