How are we different?

Glucosamine is typically obtained from seafood, unless explicitly declared as vegan. Our vegan N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG) comes from the fermentation of non-GMO maize. The extraction with pure, food-grade alcohol results in a high-quality, raw material and a purity of over 98% without any additives.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG) is an amino acid sugar that is formed from glucosamine and is an endogenous precursor of hyaluronic acid. NAG is the main building block for the synthesis of proteoglycans, which are an important component of connective tissue, especially cartilage tissue, but also play an important role in the intestinal barrier. The production of glucosamine and cartilage progressively decreases with age.

Dosage

Directions

Take 1–3 capsules (500mg NAG per capsule) daily with 200ml water with a meal.
