In organic magnesium taurate, magnesium is bound to the amino acid taurine, forming an amino acid chelate. This magnesium compound exhibits excellent bioavailability and is also suitable for individuals with a sensitive gastrointestinal system. We use a magnesium taurate with a particularly high purity of 98%. This organic form of magnesium has a content of 8% and is completely free from any additives.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.
Magnesium taurate is an organic compound of magnesium and the amino acid taurine. Taurine is highly present in muscle tissue, the brain and eye tissue. Magnesium taurate specifically contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue, maintaining normal energy metabolism, supporting normal muscle and nerve function and promoting normal psychological function.

The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of between 300–400mg of magnesium (NRV: 375mg). However, individual magnesium needs may vary according to biochemical factors, and can be significantly increased during stressful periods.
Note: According to the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR), magnesium intake through supplements should not exceed a maximum daily amount of 250mg of magnesium in food supplements in order to avoid a laxative effect (mild diarrhoea). The maximum amount applies to persons aged 4 years and older. For infants under 4 years of age, there is no such guidance relating to a daily maximum due to lack of data.
The BfR recommends that the daily dose be divided into at least two separate doses per day. This is because scientific data shows that magnesium tolerability is increased when intake is spread between two or more doses per day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
