How are we different?
The special magnesium compounds magnesium L-threonate, as the patented premium raw material Magtein®, and magnesium acetyl taurate, as ATA Mg®, are two specific forms of magnesium known for their particularly high bioavailability. They are especially suitable for supporting the brain and nervous system.
In magnesium L-threonate, magnesium is bound to the Vitamin C metabolite L-threonic acid, which ensures its excellent absorbability. The patented production process begins with Vitamin C as the natural starting material. Through a gentle and carefully controlled process, Vitamin C is converted into magnesium L-threonate with the help of magnesium carbonate and activated carbon.
ATA Mg® is the acetylated form of the organic magnesium chelate, magnesium taurate. Acetylated nutrients exhibit very good bioavailability because the attached acetyl group alters their chemical properties, allowing them to diffuse directly through the cell membrane and more easily enter the cell's interior.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in amber glass.
Effects
ATA Mg®
ATAMg® is an innovative, patented and branded raw material that is a particularly bioavailable, acetylated form of magnesium taurate. Taurine is found in high concentrations in muscle tissue, the brain, and eye tissue. Magnesium taurate particularly contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, a normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal muscle function, the normal functioning of the nervous system, as well as normal psychological function.
Magtein®
An innovative and patented branded raw material, known for its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. This special magnesium compound is specifically formulated to support neurological and psychological function, and contribute to the reduction of tiredness.

Contraindications
This product is not intended for children. Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Daily Requirements
The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of between 300–400mg of magnesium (NRV: 375mg). However, individual magnesium needs may vary according to biochemical factors, and can be significantly increased during stressful periods.
Note: According to the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR), magnesium intake through supplements should not exceed a maximum daily amount of 250mg of magnesium in food supplements in order to avoid a laxative effect (mild diarrhoea). The maximum amount applies to persons aged four years and older. For infants under 4 years of age, there is no such guidance relating to a daily maximum due to lack of data.
The BfR recommends that the daily dose be divided into at least two separate doses per day. This is because scientific data shows that magnesium tolerability is increased when intake is spread between two or more doses per day.
