Lithium Orotate

Lithium orotate is one of the most fascinating compounds in the study of minerals. Lithium salts were mentioned in research as early as the 19th century and quickly found application in various scientific disciplines. The specific compound with orotic acid – a natural intermediate product of metabolism – became particularly well known through the work of the physician Dr. Hans Nieper, who laid the foundation for a deeper understanding of cellular transport mechanisms. To this day, lithium orotate is valued in basic scientific research. Its special biochemical properties make it an important subject in the study of micronutrients and their cellular pathways.
