Hyaluronic acid can exist in different particle sizes, which are characterised by the molecular weight. Hyaluronic acid fulfils its water-binding and moisture-retaining function within the organism primarily through its high molecular weight. Hyaluronic acid in the micro and nano range only appears organically as a degradation product. Our high-dose hyaluronic acid is a special production with a molecular weight of 2.2-2.3 million Daltons and does not contain any micro or nano particles. It is 100% vegetable, vegan and is obtained by fermentation. This is not a matter of course, as hyaluronic acid is often extracted from cockscombs, for example.
We use special HPMC capsules as capsule shells which, in contrast to most other HPMC or Pullulan capsules on the market, are produced 100% without the auxiliary substances carrageenan and PEG, which do not have to be declared. For packaging, we use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic.
